Overview
NiceTry is the reference implementation of Ephemeral Keys, a protocol for quantum-safe smart accounts on Ethereum.
The account rotates its authorizing signer after every transaction while keeping a stable address. Long-term public key exposure, the surface that Shor's algorithm targets in ECDSA accounts, is eliminated. No changes to Ethereum are required.
The signing scheme is FORS+C, a hash-based few-time signature. Security reduces to Keccak-256 preimage resistance, and verification costs roughly 34k gas onchain.
